Industrial Compressor

GIB 23 air-cooled, high pressure booster

25 - 365 bar, 1330 - 5750 l/min.

Højtrykskompressor

The air-cooled booster compressors in the GIB series by BAUER KOMPRESSOREN are characterised by their crankcase, which is pressure-resistant up to 16 bar. This makes compression to the required final pressure possible without blowby losses.

A powerful air cooling system with generously dimensioned coolers combined with cylinders with extensive ribbing can be relied upon for best possible cooling of each individual compressor stage.

As cost-effective and durable system solutions for heavy-duty applications, these multi-stage boosters offer a wide and varied range of options: as a booster compressor of air from a compressed air supply system, as a nitrogen compressor of inert gases from generators or storage bundles, or as gas compressors for the compression of methane from pipelines or biogas directly from the treatment system.

Product information

B-CONTROL II compressor contro

he advanced version of the proven B-CONTROL MICRO compressor control. The B-CONTROL II features a 5.7″ colour touch screen display with 10 direct selection keys. Interaction between user and control is user-friendly and logical. The information on the display can be read off in plain text. Various languages are available for selection.

As well as supporting the control and monitoring of important unit functions, the B-CONTROL II also features user-friendly additional features such as a data logger, USB port and accessible interfaces such as Modbus, CAN Bus or Profibus. It can even be used for integrated control of an interconnected system with up to four compressors.

Additional sensors and devices can be connected, e.g. for monitoring intermediate pressures and temperatures. Remote data transfer via B-MESSENGER is supported as an option. The B-CONTROL II can be customised and expanded to meet your individual requirements – even if these involve controlling end-to-end system

Compressor block

For compressor units with intake pressure, the BK 23 to BK 52 block series feature a pressure-tight crankcase for uniform absorption of the internal gas forces

Air cooling

Air cooling is part of external cooling. It directly discharges the compressor heat from all locations where heat is critical. Air-cooled compressors are ideal for mobile or standalone applications. Thanks to the effective dimensioning of air cooling equipment, BAUER KOMPRESSOREN is able to offer air-cooled compressor units with drive power ratings up to 110 kW in proven standard design format.

Configuration

The air-cooled series is characterised by its crankcase, which is pressure-resistant up to 16 bar. This makes compression to the required final pressure possible without losses.

Accessories

Below is a selection of equipment options for the GIB 23 high pressure booster

Intake pressure reduction

Intake pressure reduction ensures that the compressor takes in the gas at the appropriate pressure. Depending on the prevailing gas pressure and the intake pressure required, 1-stage or 2-stage intake pressure reducers are used. Integrated safety valves and pressure monitoring provide an effective means of ensuring that the permissible intake pressure is not exceeded or undershot.

60-litre condensate vessel

The condensate collection system provides a central means of collecting the condensate produced during the compression process and separates condensate and air. An integrated float level switch can be relied upon to carefully and accurately monitor the fill level inside the vessel. Noise and odour are effectively prevented by an integrated silencer and filter unit.

Monitoring of pressure and temperature

This add-on module for the B-CONTROL II control monitors the pressures and temperatures of all compressor stages. If the specified limit values are undershot or exceeded, the unit shuts down automatically. Information is displayed via the B-CONTROL II control display.

Intake buffer vessel

To prevent pulsations in the intake area, the intake buffer vessel is installed between compressor, upstream gas supply networks and control equipment. The intake buffer vessel also provides a means of decoupling the delivery rate from the intake pressure generator (e.g. pre-compressor or generator) and from the compressor.
